Kimberly Joy Sessa is a surreal figurative artist living and working in Port Chester, NY. Since the age of 13, she has studied, collaborated, and shown with Italian surrealist artist, Enzo Russo. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in 2011.
Sessa uses her colorful style of oil painting as self exploration to interpret the duality within. Her inspiration ranges from literature to theology, culture, music, myth, burlesque, and the occult.
Her work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. She respectively received Best in Show in 2013 and Second Place in 2014 at the Flinn Gallery of Greenwich, CT.
