Westchester County, NY based figurative oil painter Kimberly Joy has been honing her skills since adolescence. At the age of 13 she was mentored by the Italian surrealist, Enzo Russo. Her eclectic inspiration varies from literature, spirituality, music, and the occult. Her artwork has exhibited in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
Joy graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts and she’s currently pursuing the Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy and Creative Art Development degree at Pratt Institute. Whether she’s tumbling down a rabbit hole or blindly following a yellow brick road, Joy continuously seeks self-actualization by contributing to her fellows and community.
